The Pride opened their season against Chicago, winning 6-0. Haley Hanson started the scoring early with a goal in the seventh minute of the match. Forward Ally Watt scored in the 36th minute to take a 2-0 lead into halftime and the team never looked back.
In the last 10 matches between the clubs, Gotham leads the series with five wins, while the Pride have two wins. The other three games have been draws.
