Louisville took down Clemson when these two met in the regular season with a 74-64 win over the Tigers. J’Vonne Hadley led the Cardinals with an impressive 32-point, ten-rebound performance on 10-12 shooting from the field and was a perfect 3-3 from distance in the win.
Clemson has won nine in a row, while Louisville has come out victorious in ten straight, making them two of the hottest teams in college basketball. Whoever wins this game will have a legitimate chance to win the ACC title, and go on a deep run through the NCAA Tournament, especially now that Cooper Flagg is out for Duke. Neither program wants to lose the momentum they have been building up for over a month now.
Chase Hunter leads the Tigers in scoring and is coming off an efficient 21-point game in their quarterfinals game against SMU. It was a bounce back game for the senior after a shooting below 25 percent and only scoring four points in the last game of the regular season.
Chucky Hepburn is one of the players to watch on Louisville. He is a streaky shooter, but he can take over the game when he gets hot from three. Earlier in the month, he was a perfect 6-6 from distance against Pittsburgh and finished the game with 37 points.
