UConn looks to win another Big East title on Monday night as the team faces Creighton in the Big East tournament championship game. The No. 3 ranked Huskies are 30-3 overall and 18-0 in Big East play, while Creighton is 26-5 and 16-2 in the Big East.

Both of Creighton’s Big East losses have come at the hands of UConn, most recently on Feb. 27 with the Huskies winning 72-53. Sarah Strong scored 22 points for the winning side and pulled down nine rebounds, while Paige Bueckers had a well-rounded game, scoring 15 points and adding seven rebounds, seven assists, and one block.
For Creighton, Morgan Maly was the only player to score in double figures with 11 points. She also added seven rebounds and a steal. Lauren Jensen was held to seven points on 3-for-8 shooting.
On Sunday in the semifinals, UConn beat Villanova 82-54 behind 23 points from Bueckers, while Creighton took down Seton Hall 73-44, with Jensen putting up 19 points.
