With the new Vanac collection, Seiko expands on its King Seiko roster with five new models. Inspired by the expansive city where King Seiko was born, the theme for the new creations is the Tokyo horizon, while also paying homage to the original collection from the ‘70s. This aesthetic influence is evident throughout the 5-model lineup, spanning Tokyo Twilight, Tokyo Midnight, Tokyo Sunrise, Tokyo Horizon and Tokyo Brilliant Sunlight — each boasting distinct colorways that draw cues from the shifting hues of Tokyo’s sky.
Housed in a stainless steel case with an integrated metal bracelet, every King Seiko Vanac reference features a 41mm case size and is powered by the in-house-built 8L45 mechanical caliber. Known for its high accuracy, the movement is precise to +10/-5 seconds per day and features a three-day power reserve.
Among the collection, Tokyo Horizon is a limited-edition timepiece with only 700 examples available worldwide, meanwhile, Tokyo Brilliant Sunlight is exclusively offered at the Seiko Boutique on New Bond Street, London. Available for pre-order now via Seiko, the watches will officially be released in July, each priced at £2,900 GBP/ $3,300 USD.
