At MWC 2025, Samsung Display introduced a groundbreaking lineup of flexible and foldable OLED concepts, pushing the boundaries of screen technology. These innovations include displays that fold into briefcases, stretch to expand visuals and transform into portable gaming consoles, showcasing the potential of adaptable screens in everyday life.

One standout concept is the Flexible Cabinbag, an 18.1-inch foldable OLED display that folds into a compact briefcase, making it perfect for professionals on the go. When unfolded, it offers a high-resolution screen equivalent to two tablets, combining mobility and productivity in a single device.

Samsung also unveiled the Polygon Foldable, a 3.38-inch diamond-shaped OLED designed for clamshell-style foldable phones. Its unconventional shape opens new possibilities for smartphone design and functionality. Another major innovation is the Stretchable Display, which expands horizontally to dynamically adjust visuals. At Samsung’s MWC booth, a demo showed an image of a football stretching as the display expanded, hinting at exciting applications for interactive media and gaming.

Gaming was another key focus, with the introduction of the Flex Gaming concept, a 7.2-inch foldable OLED gaming console that expands into a full-screen experience. This device blends portability with high-quality visuals, offering a new level of convenience for gamers. Samsung also showcased a multi-screen concept monitor, enabling seamless content sharing across multiple devices with consistent color and resolution. This enhances multi-device workflows, allowing users to transition between screens effortlessly.

Another striking innovation was OLED Tile, a bezel-less modular display system that creates the illusion of a seamless screen. Samsung demonstrated this through a stunning projection of Spain’s Sagrada Familia Cathedral, using a combination of ten 6.8-inch bezel-less panels and two 31.5-inch monitors to bring the stained glass to life with remarkable clarity.

While still in the concept stage, Samsung’s showcase at MWC 2025 highlights the vast potential of flexible OLED technology. From professional tools to entertainment devices, these innovations hint at a future where screens seamlessly adapt to different environments, offering greater versatility and convenience.
