MLB spring training continues on Thursday in Grapefruit League action as the Twins (3-5) take on the Yankees (6-4). Joe Ryan will make his spring training debut for the Twins, while Gerrit Cole gets his second start of the spring.
Cole won in that first start, pitching 3.1 innings and striking out five batters. Will he have the same kind of success this time around?

The Yankees were an offensive powerhouse in their last game on Tuesday against the Phillies, whom they beat 12-3. The team scored seven runs in the third inning and had a total of 15 hits. Center fielder Spencer Jones had quite the day, going 3-for-3 with four RBIs, including a three-run home run.
In the Twins’ 5-2 loss to the Orioles on Wednesday, reliever Justin Topa suffered an arm injury. Topa was removed from the game after seven pitches. Royce Lewis and Ty France were the players that found success at the plate. Both went 2-for-3 with an RBI.
These teams met on Feb. 25, with the Twins winning 5-4.
