Aimé Leon Dore has confirmed the return of its “SOUND” series of DJ sets for the Spring/Summer 2025 season.
If you’re unfamiliar with the fairly new venture from ALD – having just launched “SOUND” back in 2023 – the monthly content series is heavily community-centric. “SOUND” bridges the gap between established and emerging musicians, featuring hour-long DJ sets recorded in the intimate soundrooms located within the brand’s New York City and London flagship stores.
The Spring/Summer 2025 “SOUND” series, however, will just include sets in New York City, heavily tapping into the city’s electronic music scene.
“Rooted in New York’s deep DJ culture, SOUND provides a platform for DJs to explore their craft, bridge generations and drive the culture forward,” a press release explains of the event, noting this season’s goal is to pay “tribute to NYC’s early 2000s DJ pioneers while spotlighting rising talent.”
“SOUND” Spring/Summer 2025 kicks off this Friday, March 7, with a set by Tony Touch dropping on the brand’s official YouTube channel at 11 a.m. EST.
Stay tuned as a full list of DJs becomes available and watch for more updates at ALD’s SOUND website.
