The PGA Tour heads to Bay Hill in Orlando, Florida, for the Arnold Palmer Invitational, the fourth Signature Event of the 2025 PGA Tour season. The tournament will feature most of the top players on the circuit, making it one of the strongest fields of the current season.
Scottie Scheffler is the overwhelming favorite to defend the title he won at Bay Hill a year ago. Fanduel has Scheffler at +320 to win the title, more than double the next best odds, Rory McIlroy (+750).
The defending champion got off to a slow start this season due to a hand injury that landed him in the operating room. Still, he has managed to finish in the top 10 in two of the three events he has played.
Xander Schauffele is another interesting name in the field. Like Scheffler, he is also coming off an injury. Despite that fact, Fanduel has him ranked fourth in terms of odds to win, behind only Scheffler, McIlroy and Ludvig Aberg.

Can Scottie Scheffler repeat his victory at Bay Hill?
It was at the Arnold Palmer Invitational that Scottie Scheffler began his historic winning streak in 2024. The situation is different this season, as the World No. 1 has had his preparation affected, but in his previous starts he has shown signs of his true potential and nobody is ruling out a great result for him at Bay Hill.
Joining him as top favorites are the winners of the last two Signature Events, Rory McIlroy and Ludvig Aberg. The Northern Irishman will be arriving with his pride bruised and battered after being knocked out of the TGL, while the Swede will be in the opposite mood having won his last PGA Tour event and enjoyed a great season in the TGL.
Scheffler, McIlroy and Aberg are undoubtedly the three key players to watch at the Arnold Palmer Invitational. However, other names such as Collin Morikawa and Hidei Matsuyama should not be ruled out.
If you are looking for a long shot, look no further than Sungjae Im. In six previous starts at the Arnold Palmer, he has finished no worse than 21st. Yet, he is going off at 45-to-1. That’s worth tossing a shekel on.
