Audi has officially introduced the latest iteration of its A6 Avant, refining the model with enhanced performance, improved efficiency and modern tech. The new A6 Avant merges elegant aesthetics with updated aerodynamics, boasting a segment-leading drag coefficient of 0.25.
At the heart of the A6 Avant is Audi’s MHEV plus mild hybrid system, available in a 2L TDI (201 hp) and a 3L TFSI V6 (362 hp). The system integrates a 48-volt battery, a belt alternator starter (BAS) and a powertrain generator (PTG), allowing for partial electric driving and improved fuel efficiency. The PTG also enhances acceleration, delivers up to 170 lb-ft of additional torque and enables all-electric parking and maneuvering.
Driving dynamics receive a major boost with adaptive air suspension and all-wheel steering, which enhance agility and comfort in both urban and high-speed scenarios. The available quattro sport differential provides even greater handling, making this the most responsive Avant from Audi yet.
Inside, the cabin is a showcase of Audi’s digital-first philosophy. A panoramic MMI display, a Bang & Olufsen 3D sound system and a customizable ambient lighting package elevate the experience. The latest OLED rear lights and seven selectable digital light signatures reinforce the A6 Avant’s modern identity while enhancing road safety.
Audi CEO Gernot Döllner describes the model as “a first-class experience,” marking another step in the brand’s product refresh. The 2025 Audi A6 Avant will be available for order in March 2025, with pricing starting at $62,500 USD. Deliveries are set to begin by the end of May 2025.
