All the Highlights From the 2025 OscarsArrow
They do say that you’re never fully dressed without a smile, so Julia Fox’s 2025 Vanity Fair Oscar Party look, nipple-bearing and nearly-naked though it may have been, was technically a complete one. While the Oscars 2025 Sunday was all about opening the envelope to reveal the award winners, the Vanity Fair Oscar Party always pushes the fashion envelope.
The Uncut Gems muse turned heads with her sheer Dilara Findikoglu look, with miles of hair extensions strategically wrapped around her torso and legs for modesty and major The Birth of Venus Botticelli vibes. It’s evocative of Bianca Censori’s shocking naked Grammys 2025 look, and Fox’s red carpet moment came one month to the day after Kanye West’s wife (they are reportedly on the rocks now) dropped her fur coat to the ground and revealed, well, just about everything.
Fox, who was styled by Briana Andalore and had clutch hairstyling by John Novotny, kept her makeup (by Kali Kennedy) rosy cheeked and glowy glam for the night, leaning into her naturalistic Garden of Eden vibe. Her face was framed with soft curtain bangs, and her eyebrows were bleached. Her extensions were sandwiched beneath her mesh gown to provide some coverage and artful shape, the dark S-curls snaking down to her knees, with a few chunky braids thrown into the mix. She finished off the look with nude-toned pumps to keep the clean from head to toe.
This isn’t the first time Fox has donned one of Turkish designer Dilara Findikoglu’s looks: In December 2024 she attended the British Fashion Council Awards in the designer’s sheer nude and lace corset gown, calling Findikoglu “the queen of fashion” in an Instagram post about the event.
Fox chatted inside the party with fellow fashion trailblazer Cole Escola, the two posing together for photographers.
While the Oscar ceremony’s red carpet leaned heavily toward vintage Hollywood glam looks, many stars got more daring at the after-party. Zoë Kravitz had a peek-a-booty moment in a black Saint Laurent column gown, newly-minted best-supporting actress winner Zoe Saldana also opted for a Saint Laurent look, this one with a semi-sheer bodice and a high-low ruffled skirt, and Olivia Wilde chose to party in a dreamy off-white Chloé number.
