Doja Cat’s latest look is the cat’s meow.
The singer took a walk on the wild side on the Oscars 2025 red carpet, sporting a plunging leopard-print corset dress covered in hand-sewn sequins.
Olivier Rousteing custom-made the mermaid gown for the “Say So” singer, inspired by a near-identical Pierre Balmain design from 1953.
The modern iteration put the cat in Doja Cat and required 5,600 hours and a team of 46 artisans to create, per Vogue.
The “Woman” singer, 29, teamed the trendy look with mixed-metal jewelry, including a dazzling gold necklace and silver earrings.
It’s not the first time the French fashion designer has teamed up with Doja Cat, as she performed at the Balmain music festival in 2021, celebrating his 10th anniversary as the label’s creative director.
With the “Paint the Town Red” rapper slated to sing at tonight’s Conan O’Brien-hosted ceremony, it’s safe to say it’s not her last look of the evening.
She’ll be joined by her “Born Again” collaborators Raye and Lisa for her performance, which promises to be a “show-stopping celebration of cinema,” per a post on the Academy’s Instagram.
For her part, Blackpink singer Lisa suited up for the red carpet in a floor-grazing black tuxedo blazer, a white button-up and wide-leg pants by Markgong.
While it’s Doja Cat’s first time at the Oscars, she’s no stranger to turning heads on the red carpet — from her wet-look T-shirt dress at the 2024 Met Gala to a Grammy dress meant to look like a wardrobe malfunction.
With her performance nearly here, another show-stopping look’s no doubt in the making.
