Lil Durk is facing another wrongful death lawsuit on behalf of the family of Saviay’a Robinson, the cousin of Quando Rondo who Durk and five co-defendants are accused of attempting to murder in 2022.

The offices of Postman Law and Roden Law allege that Robinson’s vehicle was ambushed near West Hollywood in Los Angeles on August 19, 2022 while driving with Quando Rondo. The attackers fired multiple rounds into the passenger side near the area of the Beverly Center, leaving Robinson with critical injuries. He was declared dead shortly after arriving at a local hospital.

Robinson’s death is now being linked to the federal indictment filed against Banks and co-defendants Kavon London Grant (aka Cuz or Vonnie), Deandre Dontrell Wilson (DeDe), Asa Houston (Boogie), Keith Jones (Flacka) and David Brian Lindsey (Browneyez) in late October 2024. The suit accuses Durk and his co-conspirators, some of whom are part of his rap collective/alleged gang Only the Family, of exploiting “interstate facilities to execute the murder that ended Robinson’s life” as they attempted to murder Quando Rondo. Postman Law adds, “Authorities then launched further investigations into OTF’s activities, exposing a disturbing pattern of violence and retaliation under Banks’ leadership.”

Warren Postman, Managing Partner at Postman Law and representative of the Robinson family, said, ”The premature loss of Mr. Robinson has devastated his family and community. We filed this lawsuit to hold those responsible accountable and to ensure his family receives the support they need during this difficult time.” Robinson is described as “a devoted father of three small children and a hardworking entrepreneur.”
