In celebration of its 150th anniversary, Audemars Piguet has proudly unveiled a new selection of timekeeping novelties, embodying performance, ergonomics and aesthetic harmony.
Leading the lineup are a trio of references equipped with AP’s brand new perpetual calendar complication: the Caliber 7138. To enhance user comfort while also improving legibility, all functions can be adjusted via the all-in-one crown. This new self-winding perpetual calendar movement debuts on a 41 mm Code 11.59 in 18-carat white gold, priced at 130,000 CHF (approx. $145,540 USD) as well as two 41 mm Royal Oak models – in stainless steel or 18-carat sand gold – at 109,300 CHF (approx. $122,366 USD) each — all protected by five patents.
The celebration continues with the next timepiece, the Royal Oak Perpetual Calendar Openworked “150th Anniversary” Limited Edition, which also marks the last reference to feature the Caliber 5135 movement. The new watch’s design references the Ref. 25729PT openworked Royal Oak pocket watch from the ‘90s and faithfully transposes its alluring dial onto a 41mm titanium wristwatch. Limited to 150 pieces, this special time-teller features a price tag of 175,000 CHF (approx. $195,919 USD).
To honor its long-standing tradition of creating intricate mechanisms, AP is expanding its range of complex timepieces with the 38mm Code 11.59 Flying Tourbillon. Starring a gleaming design crafted from 18-carat sand gold, the piece is further bedazzled with 235 brilliant-cut diamonds across its case middle and lugs. This elegant timepiece houses the ultra-thin Calibre 2968 RD#3 movement and is the first self-winding flying tourbillon offered in this case size, retailing for 149,000 CHF (approx $166,811 USD).
