It was a big night for Lil Timmy Tim at the 2025 SAG Awards. Timothée Chalamet won the award for the Best Male Actor category, making him the youngest-ever recipient to receive the recognition. He won for his portrayal of the famous Bob Dylan in A Complete Unknown.
Chalamet’s speech tugged at heartstrings across the world as the industry and fans acknowledged his hard work. The 29-year-old-actor said in his acceptance speech, “I can’t downplay the significance of this award because it means the most to me, and I know we’re in a subjective business, but the truth is I’m really in pursuit of greatness. I know people don’t usually talk like that, but I want to be one of the greats. I’m inspired by the greats. I’m inspired by the greats here tonight. I’m as inspired by Daniel Day-Lewis, Marlon Brando, and Viola Davis as I am by Michael Jordan, Michael Phelps, and I want to be up there. So I’m deeply grateful. This doesn’t signify that, but it’s a little more fuel. It’s a little more ammo to keep going. Thank you so much.”
While the speech was a standout event at the SAG Awards, Chalamet’s fashion statement also told a story of its own. Styled by Taylor McNeill, Chalamet pays homage to Dylan’s style in bright green dress shert paired with a custom Chrome Hearts leather suit that featured a single-breasted peak lapel leather blazer and matching straight-leg pants. He also wore a pair of black rectangular Chrome Hearts sunglasses and archive cowboy boots from the brand.
Never one to shy away from bold styles, Chalamet tied his whole outfit together with a bolo tie. At a closer glance, the bolo tie was actually a Féline de Cartier pendant watch. The Cartier watch featured 78 brilliant and princess-cut diamonds set in 18-karat yellow gold and black lacquer from the 2005 Cartier Libre collection. Chalamet and Cartier have long worked together and the actor has often been spotted wearing its pieces on red carpets.
