BMW M is honoring nine-time motorcycle world champion and current BMW M works driver Valentino Rossi with a special-edition M4 CS Edition VR46. Limited to just 46 units per design variant, the model celebrates Rossi’s 46th birthday with exclusive styling and performance tuning.
Rossi, famously known as “The Doctor,” played an important role in designing two unique trims — Sport and Style. The Sport edition features Marina Bay Blue metallic with Rossi’s iconic number 46 in Tanzanite Blue, while the Style variant boasts matte Frozen Tanzanite Blue metallic with Frozen Marina Bay Blue accents. Hand-painted yellow highlights on the kidney grille, wheels and brake calipers nod to Rossi’s signature color palette.
Under the hood, the M4 CS Edition VR46 packs a 3L twin-turbo inline-six producing 550 hp. Paired with an eight-speed M Steptronic transmission, M xDrive all-wheel drive, and an Active M Differential, the coupe rockets from 0-60 mph in 3.4 seconds with a top speed of 187 mph. Optimized chassis tuning and lightweight carbon fiber elements further enhance track agility.
Beyond its aesthetics and power, purchasing this collector’s edition gives owners an exclusive meet-and-greet opportunity with Rossi at his VR46 Motor Ranch in Tavullia, Italy. A BMW M Driving Experience at Misano Circuit is also included, offering a once-in-a-lifetime immersion into Rossi’s world of motorsports.
