Netflix’s Full Swing released its Season 3 trailer before its February 25 premiere. The video features several of the stars of the first two seasons and showcases many of the big moments for the PGA Tour and professional golf season.
Bryson DeChambeau’s win at Pinehurst for his second U.S. Open title was among the highlights.
The video also focused on Scottie Scheffler’s incredible seven-win season. Of course, his arrest Friday ahead of Round 2 of the PGA Championship at Valhalla was also a focal point.
Gary Woodland, Ludvig Åberg, Rickie Fowler, Min Woo Lee, and many other guys will be among the participants in Season 3 of Full Swing. Golf influencer Paige Spiranac even made an appearance in the trailer.
However, someone was missing in the promotional video.
Xander Schauffele went from having zero majors to two, which made his absence questionable. Why was he left out?
He was one of the biggest storylines in 2024, and Schauffele was one of the most important members of the season, along with Scheffler.

It is odd that the world’s second-ranked player was not in the trailer, even though guys with more minor roles, like Justin Rose and Neal Shipley, got some camera time.
There has been no word on why he did not make the trailer.
Schauffele will not participate in anything if he does not want to if the past tells us anything. Maybe his absence in the first video will increase interest in the season.
Hopefully, he does make it into Season 3 of Full Swing. As one of the more charismatic members of the PGA Tour, Schauffele should be in this docuseries.
