Honda has officially launched the 2026 Passport, a rugged and adventure-ready midsize SUV, now arriving at dealerships. Completely reimagined with a bold design, off-road enhancements and a V6 engine, the new Passport is designed to appeal to young, active adventurers seeking both capability and comfort.
The 2026 Passport lineup includes the well-equipped RTL, the off-road-focused TrailSport and the newly introduced TrailSport Elite. Each model comes standard with Honda’s i-VTM4 all-wheel-drive system and a robust 3.5L V6 engine producing 285 hp and 262 lb-ft of torque. A 10-speed automatic transmission and paddle shifters provide enhanced driving dynamics both on and off the road.
Honda touts the Passport TrailSport as the most off-road-capable SUV in the brand’s history. It features an off-road-tuned suspension, steel skid plates, all-terrain tires and bright orange recovery hooks. The top-tier TrailSport Elite introduces a TrailWatch camera system, ventilated leather seats and a 12-speaker Bose premium audio system for a high-tech adventure experience.
Designed for overlanding, the Passport offers the broadest range of Genuine Honda Accessories yet, including rock sliders, a roof platform and a return of the stowable picnic table. Seven option packages allow buyers to customize their SUVs further, with additions like an Adventure Package, a Pet Package and the sporty HPD Package.
Honda has improved the Passport’s safety features, equipping all trims with an upgraded Honda Sensing suite, advanced airbags and new driver-assistive technologies. With increased cargo space, a more refined interior and modern tech, the new Passport delivers both rugged capability and everyday practicality.
The new Honda Passport is available for order now and starts at $44,750 USD.
