Vampires are coming to Peacock. Well, one vampire in particular.
Beginning tomorrow, Feb. 21, Robert Eggers’ Nosferatu will be streaming exclusively on Peacock for subscribers.
In addition to the theatrical cut, a never-before-seen extended cut of Nosferatu will also stream on Peacock.
Nosferatu is a remake of the 1922 silent film of the same name starring Bill SkarsgÃ¥rd as the imposing vampire Count Orlok (who is essentially Dracula, as Nosferatu began as an unauthorized adaptation of Bram Stoker’s novel).
Nominated for four Oscars this year, Nosferatu is a gothic horror tale of vampirism, obsession, plague, and infatuation that also stars Lily-Rose Depp, Nicholas Hoult, and Aaron Taylor Johnson.
If you’re trying to watch all of the Oscar-nominated movies ahead of this year’s ceremony, Nosferatu comes to Peacock at the perfect time.
Nosferatu Peacock Release Date: When Does Nosferatu Come Out on Peacock?
Nosferatu comes out on Peacock tomorrow, Friday, Feb. 21. The theatrical cut of the film will be available that day in addition to a new director’s cut.
How to Watch and Stream Nosferatu on Peacock:
Nosferatu is streaming exclusively on Peacock, so the only way to watch (without paying the premium rental price, that is) is with a Peacock subscription. Peacock costs $7.99/month with ads and $13.99/month ad-free.
Does Peacock Have A Free Trial?
Unfortunately, Peacock does not offer a free trial (but one month of Peacock is still more cost-effective than a premium on-demand purchase would be!). However, you can get two weeks of Peacock free with an Instacart+ two-week free trial.
Who Is in the Cast of Nosferatu (2024)?
Pennywise portrayer Bill SkarsgÃ¥rd takes on another horror icon; he plays the terrifying vampire Count Orlok. Here’s who else you’ll see in the star-studded cast of Nosferatu:
- Lily-Rose Depp as Ellen Hutter
- Nicholas Hoult as Thomas Hutter
- Aaron Taylor-Johnson as Friedrich Harding
- Willem Dafoe as Prof. Albin Eberhart von Franz
- Emma Corrin as Anna Harding
- Ralph Ineson as Dr. Wilhelm Sievers
- Simon McBurney as Herr Knock
Where to Stream the Original Nosferatu:
F.W. Murnau’s Nosferatu is currently available to buy ($9.99) or rent ($3.99) on Prime Video. It is also a part of the Kino Film Collection on Prime Video Channels. You can try Kino Film Collection for free with a seven-day trial.
