After 85 years of the famed cat and mouse chase, BAPE is celebrating the nostalgic duo, Tom and Jerry. In a special collaborative collection, the clothing brand partners with the renowned animated comedy series in a partnership with Warner Bros. to commemorate the timeless legacy of the beloved cat and mouse characters.

Since its creation in the 1940s, the series has been beloved across generations, the collection features a selection of limited edition pieces in two distinctive series. In the “Core Art” series, the apparel pieces highlight the current character designs, while the “Vintage Art” series leans into the archival and classic animation style, paying homage to the deep history of Tom and Jerry. The “Core Art” part of the collection features a series of t-shirts, full-zip hoodies, sweatshirts, pouches and a plush doll set. T-shirts arrive in four designs, including BAPE’s iconic ape head alongside Tom and jerry. Another design sees bulldog Spike and the young mouse named Tuffy appear on black and white tees along with a camo t-shirt to further highlight Tom and Jerry. A collegiate sweatshirt tee reinterprets BAPE’s college logo alongside playful Tom and Jerry graphics.

As a part of the “Vintage Art” series, the capsule includes crewneck sweatshirts and ringer T-shirts with half-rubber prints that accentuate the fabric’s texture, enhancing the vintage feel. The ringer tee features piping on the collar and cuffs, and comes in ivory and black, with classic graphics and the “A BATHING APE®︎” logo printed. The crewneck sweatshirt showcases monochrome illustrations of the ape head alongside Tom and Jerry in black, grey and yellow.

The collection drops on February 22 at select stores and online.
