Iittala unveils its newest seasonal collection, featuring the “Solare” tableware line – an innovative, design-forward approach that reimagines the dining experience through light and form. Alongside tableware, the collection introduces new glass art, small accessories and textiles, all embodying Iittala’s signature blend of craftsmanship and modernity.
Inspired by the sun, “Solare” translates radiant energy into shapes and textures that push the boundaries of conventional design. As a continuation of their Kaamos series, the collection reflects the cyclical nature of Nordic seasons. This interplay of shadow and illumination brings a futuristic aesthetic while staying deeply rooted in Iittala’s heritage.
At the heart of the collection is a range of mouth-blown glassware, meticulously crafted by artisans at Iittala’s Finnish factory. These pieces capture and manipulate light, creating a dynamic visual experience. The ceramic designs feature an embossed surface that enhances grip, adds depth and allows for practical stacking. This versatile approach ensures “Solare” seamlessly integrates with existing Iittala collections, enabling personalized table settings for any occasion.
The “Solare” collection launches worldwide on March 21, available in all Iittala stores, online and at select retailers.
