Although Chloe Fineman has been known to serve hilarious impersonations of Drew Barrymore, Britney Spears and Timothée Chalamet, not everyone is a fan.

The Saturday Night Live star recently revealed that Harry Styles was less than enthused with her impression of the One Direction alum when he hosted and performed on the NBC sketch comedy show in 2019.

“Harry Styles is really bad,” she admitted on the red carpet of Sunday’s SNL50: The Anniversary Special, adding: “I did it and he was like at the table and was so devastated by how bad it was.”

After becoming known for her Chalamet impression, Fineman previously explained why she didn’t pull out her impersonation of the A Complete Unknown star when he recently pulled double duty as host and musical guest.

“I’ve been saying, I feel like I’ve done it twice already this year without him, and I really feel like I’m leaning more, like, L Word. I dunno. I’m a lot older than him. I just feel like I’m this cool les lady. I just feel like I’m like two lesbians,” she said this month on Watch What Happens Live.

“I think that now we know each other, it’s sort of embarrassing,” added Fineman. “I feel like this weird older woman, being like, ‘Hey little boy, can I put your sweatpants on?’ ‘Cause I’ve worn his — sometimes I’ll wear his real clothes doing it, which was really fun.”

Celebrating 50 years of SNL, The Anniversary Special saw 14.8 million viewers across Peacock and NBC.
