Blake Lively “confided” in a mutual friend of hers and Justin Baldoni’s that the “It Ends With Us” director was acting like a “creep” toward her, the actress claims in an amended complaint filed Tuesday.
Her lawyers allege that on May 24, 2023, Lively texted the unnamed woman, “I was gonna invite you to set tomorrow. These people. Whoa . . . It’s like HR nuts today. The both of them,” referring to both Baldoni and Wayfarer co-producer Jamey Heath.
Then, the “Gossip Girl” alum, 37, allegedly told her friend that she went home and “cried” after work.
Per the complaint, she described Baldoni, 41, and Heath as “creeps,” noting, “Like keep your hormones to yourselves. This is not mine. I don’t want it.”
Lively further vented to her friend, “I don’t want you [sic] gaze or words or tongue or videos of your naked wife,” referring to a video Heath showed of his wife giving birth naked, which the “Age of Adeline” star said in her complaint she “thought” was porn at first.
Lively concluded in her message, “It’s shocking. Clowns.” Her “inappropriate behavior” complaints were then reported to Baldoni, Heath and Sony exec Ange Gianetti on May 26, 2023, per the suit.
Page Six has reached out to Baldoni’s reps for comment on the exchange Lively allegedly had with her friend but did not immediately hear back.
However, his lawyer Bryan Freedman told us earlier on Wednesday in response to the amended complaint, “Our clients have been transparent in providing receipts, real time documents and video showing a completely different story than what has been manipulated and cherry picked to the media.
“Our clients have taken this matter and these issues very seriously notwithstanding the jokes made publicly by the plaintiff and her husband. Her underwhelming amended complaint is filled with unsubstantial hearsay of unnamed persons who are clearly no longer willing to come forward or publicly support her claims.”
He concluded, “Since documents do not lie and people do, the upcoming depositions of those who initially supported Ms. Lively’s false claims and those who are witnesses to her own behavior will be enlightening. What is truly uncomfortable here is Ms. Lively’s lack of actual evidence.”
Lively first made her allegations against Baldoni public last December in a California Civil Rights Department complaint, in which she accused her former co-star of sexual harassment and launching a smear campaign against her to “destroy” her reputation.
She then reiterated her claims in a subsequent lawsuit and the newly filed amended complaint, including the shocking allegation that Baldoni once asked Lively if she and her husband, Ryan Reynolds, “climax simultaneously” while discussing a potential sex scene between their two “It Ends With Us” characters.
“Ms. Lively found invasive and refused to discuss,” the complaint further alleges.
Baldoni has denied all of Lively’s claims and is suing the actress, Reynolds, 48, and their publicist for extortion and defamation. He is seeking $400 million in damages.
Lively has said via her lawyers that Baldoni’s suit is “another chapter in the abuser playbook.”
The court cases are ongoing with the potential for a trial in March 2026. All parties previously turned down the court’s mediation attempt and agreed that a settlement would be “premature.”
