Beloved Japanese labels BEAMS and NEEDLES have reunited again for a concise capsule centered on familiar motifs from NEEDLES. Offering three styles in subdued colorways, the partners bring a tastefully pared-back lineup highlighting brand iconography with classic silhouettes.
The collection is led by a black nylon stadium jacket, which places NEEDLES’ cursive wordmark on the front center with black-on-black stripes down the arms. Leaning into the Ivy-Americana aesthetic BEAMS is known for, the jacket features ribbed cuffs decorated with black and white stripes. Reinterpreting NEEDLES’ retro tracksuit, a matching zip hoodie and trousers set is centered on a tonal butterfly applique on the chest and the label’s signature vertical stripes.

The two brands have a consistent history of tie-ups, often focussing on singular pieces and small capsules. In February 2024, the two released a special release of NEEDLES’ H.D. trousers and even collaborated on a Timex watch for the BEAMS BOY Line.
BEAMS and NEEDLES’ latest collaborative capsule is set for release on February 21 at select BEAMS stockists and the official BEAMS web store.
