In celebration of Brain Dead‘s 10th anniversary, A.P.C. has reunited with the LA-based brand for a capsule of elevated basics centering on A.P.C.’s signature raw denim.
Leading the collection, Brain Dead’s 00 Trucker Jacket and 00 Denim Pants each boast co-branded leather patches on the back and are made in raw selvedge denim. Inspired by classic American workwear, the jacket features alternating silver and bronze details with red selvedge accents, while the bottoms are characterized by a wide-legged fit and a high waist.
To match the sturdy indigo set, a raw denim bucket hat and tote back accompany the garments and introduce a logo combining Brain Dead’s emblem with A.P.C. bubble lettering. Rounding out the collection, a plain white tee and a heather gray raglan hoodie with a boxy fit reprise the co-branded emblem in varying scales.

Though unlikely partners, the two labels have been introducing collaborative products since 2019. Brain Dead first appeared on A.P.C.’s FW19 runway show with a lineup of jackets, vests, and hoodies with retrofuturistic graphics. Back in 2021, the collaborators reunited for their “Unity” tote bag, which supported the Luminous Sound Fund, established to support groups that provide equal access to music education and resources.
Since the two linked up yet again in 2022 to celebrate A.P.C.’s 35th anniversary, it’s only natural that the two labels have reunited for Brain Dead’s decade in business.
The latest A.P.C. capsule will be released on February 25 at 10 am PT on the Brain Dead web store and physical boutiques, as well as at the A.P.C. web store and select locations.
