Sharon Stone is reportedly in discussions to join the highly anticipated third season of HBO’s Euphoria, according to The InSneider.
If confirmed, the acclaimed actress would be stepping into an already star-studded lineup that includes Zendaya, Jacob Elordi, Sydney Sweeney, Maude Apatow, Hunter Schafer, Alexa Demie, Eric Dane, and Colman Domingo, among others. HBO has yet to comment on the casting news.
A veteran of the film industry, Stone has built an impressive career with standout performances in Basic Instinct, Total Recall, Sliver, and Casino, the latter directed by Martin Scorsese. She recently wrapped filming on Nobody 2, Universal’s sequel to the 2021 action hit, where she stars alongside Bob Odenkirk. The film is set to hit theaters on August 15, 2025. Stone is represented by Independent Artist Group and Brecheen Feldman.
Meanwhile, HBO has officially kicked off production on Euphoria’s long-awaited third season after nearly three years.
The network also confirmed several new cast additions, including former NFL player-turned-actor Marshawn Lynch (Love Hurts), Grammy-winning artist Rosalia, Kadeem Hardison (The Chi, A Different World), Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje (Lost, Suicide Squad), Toby Wallace (Pistol), Priscilla Delgado, James Landry Hébert, Darrell Britt-Gibson, and Anna Van Patten.
Akinnuoye-Agbaje and Wallace are set as series regulars, while the rest will appear in notable guest roles.
Additionally, Martha Kelly and Chloe Cherry, both of whom had recurring roles in season two, have been promoted to series regulars, while Domingo will return in a guest capacity.
Season three will reportedly feature a time jump, moving the show’s younger characters beyond their high school years. While an official release date has yet to be announced, the new season is expected to debut in 2026.
