A Honduran immigrant who owns a restaurant in New Jersey was busted for allegedly drugging and sexually assaulting a woman at his Portuguese-style eatery – and is now wanted by federal immigration officials.

Carlos Erazo-Caballero, 36, was charged with first-degree sexual assault for the October 2024 incident at Stephanie’s Barbeque IV in Newark, according to the Essex County Prosecutor’s Office, local outlets reported.

The Elizabeth resident, a citizen of Honduras, was arrested on Feb. 5, jail records show.

Prosecutors did not provide additional information on the alleged assault to protect the victim’s identity, NJ Advance Media reported.

Erazo-Caballero opened his BBQ joint in 2017, according to its website.

He is expected to be apprehended by US Immigration and Customs Enforcement, prosecutors said, with jail records showing the federal agency placed a detainer on him.

ICE did not immediately respond to The Post’s request for comment.

The investigation remains ongoing, the outlet reported.

Anyone with information is encouraged to contact the prosecutor’s office.
