A 17-year-old girl was shot in the head and killed in Queens on Saturday evening, according to the NYPD.
Officers were called to a Holliswood, Queens, home at 5:13 p.m. where they found the teenage girl unconscious and bleeding from the head.
The victim was taken by EMS to Jamaica Hospital Medical Center but could not be saved.
A 16-year-old boy was being questioned, but no arrests have been made, according to police sources.
NYPD officers recovered a gun at the scene.
An investigation was ongoing.
