The season teed off last week in Riyadh, where Adrian Meronk of Cleeks GC claimed the individual title, finishing 17 under par and edging out Jon Rahm and Sebastian Munoz by two strokes.
However, on the team side, it was Rahm’s Legion XIII squad that dominated the competition, finishing a staggering 50 under par to secure the team title. Legion XIII cruised to victory, finishing 11 shots ahead of Ripper GC and RangeGoats GC, while Meronk’s Cleeks GC placed sixth.
Now, the focus shifts to Adelaide, where the field looks to build momentum in what promises to be another thrilling event on the LIV Golf schedule.

Now, LIV heads to The Grange Golf Club in Adelaide, Australia for the second event of the season. Last year, Ripper GC won this event at 53 under par while Brendan Steele took the individual title at 18 under, besting Louis Oosthuizen by one stroke.
In Riyadh, Steele, who golfs for HyFlyers GC, finished in a tie for 30th. He’ll hope to get back on track this weekend at the course where he won in 2024. Oosthuizen, meanwhile, came in just ahead of Steele last weekend, finishing in a tie for 25th.
Last season, Jon Rahm was the individual winner in the points list, followed by Joaquin Niemann, Sergio Garcia, Tyrrell Hatton, and Brooks Koepka. Talor Gooch and Dustin Johnson have also won championships in the three-year existence of the LIV Gold Invitational Series, while Ripper GC, Crushers GC, and 4Aces GC have won the team championships.
