Philadelphia Eagles superstar Saquon Barkley has himself a goal this offseason, and it has nothing to do with football or winning another Super Bowl.
Barkley may not be ready to be a two-sport star anytime soon, but he’s absolutely determined to be a better golfer. And he went to social media to tell the world what he’ll truly be focusing on over the next few months.
If I don’t break 80 this offseason… I gotta give up the game.

Turns out the 2,000-yard rusher and Super Bowl champ is an avid golfer, who wants nothing more than to break 80 for the first time before NFL training camp comes calling in late July.
And he just so happens to have some friends in high places who may be able to help.
In addition to having former President Barack Obama on speed dial, having played a round with him at Merion GC during this past season, he also had a pretty strong offer from one of the best players in the world.
Immediately after Barkley’s sub-80 declaration dropped, two-time U.S. Open champion Bryson DeChambeau chimed in with an exciting, on-brand challenge.
“How about we just break 50 together,” DeChambeau replied on the social platform X.
Getting that kind of offer from the longest hitter in the game is a nice way to start getting that 15 handicap down. But how can DeChambeau really help Barkley with his short game?
After all, it took him 16 days to complete his own Hole-in-One Challenge.
Either way, it looks like the Eagles star running back will be logging plenty of time at his local track the next few months. And after that impressive 40-22 win over the Kansas City Chiefs in Super Bowl 59, it’s more than well deserved.
