NBA Champion and reigning Finals MVP Jaylen Brown has officially joined team Oakley for the athlete’s first ever brand partnership. The collaboration will extend over a multi-year period and will focus on shaping a new design philosophy within the Oakley-verse. Working in tandem with the development, innovation, and research teams, the collection will launch special edition products in collaboration with the Boston Celtics guard’s recently launched sportswear brand, 741.
Brown will also serve as an eyewear ambassador for the brand. This NBA season, his pre-game “tunnel fit” walks have included some of Oakley’s most iconic early 2000s styles, including the Over The Top and Polaris.
“This is my first ever brand partnership in my career, and that’s because I had a mission to only align with brands that mirrored my vision and values in every aspect—self-expression, style, and unity, Brown said of the partnership “Oakley’s innovation and dedication to advancing sports and culture, while inspiring today’s youth, makes this partnership a powerful and meaningful move.”
As an Oakley brand ambassador, Brown is joining the ranks of Team Oakley athletes such as Patrick Mahomes, Paolo Banchero, Diamond DeShields, Justin Jefferson and more. Outside of the sports sphere, Oakley has been staying busy by partnering with the likes of Palace, Bodega and Podpah Podcast.
