Nothing is off limits when it comes to Jimmy Kimmel‘s relentless criticism of President Trump.

The late night host spent a chunk of his opening monologue on Tuesday’s Live broadcast mocking Trump’s executive decision to ban paper straws.

He shared a clip from Trump’s press conference where the president went on a bizarre tirade against them, saying, “They break, they explode … It’s a ridiculous situation.”

“Wait a minute, I’m with him on them not lasting very long, but they explode? His straws are exploding? How hard is he sucking?” Kimmel wondered.

He then took aim at Trump’s family to drive the point home. “Listen, the fact of the matter is, Trump loves plastic, most of his wives are made of plastic,” Kimmel joked.

He also pointed out that paper straws are used to avoid plastic waste in the oceans and protect marine life, but Trump didn’t appear to believe that much during his press conference.

“I don’t think that plastic’s going to effect a shark very much as they’re munching their way through the ocean,” the president said during the presser.

“That degree in marine biology is really coming in handy,” Kimmel quipped back.

Kimmel has been openly condemning many of Trump’s decisions since he took office in January.

He blasted the president for pardoning the Jan. 6 insurrectionists who stormed the capitol and for his idea to have the United States take over Gaza and “redevelop” the area.

“It’s like our country’s being run by the maniac from Saw,” Kimmel joked on a recent broadcast, adding, “Every idea is worse than the last idea.”

He made his feelings about the president very clear on the show, telling the Live audience that Americans have “a very crazy person running our country right now.”

“Like, standing in the intersection, talking to himself crazy,” he said.

Jimmy Kimmel Live! airs on weeknights at 11:35/10:35c on ABC.
