Megyn Kelly claimed she nearly barged in on Taylor Swift in the bathroom at the 2025 Super Bowl.
The former Fox star, 54, was seated one suite over from the pop star in Caesars Superdome to watch the Philadelphia Eagles take down the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday.
The following day, Kelly told her podcast listeners that she and Swift nearly had an awkward run-in after heading out for a bathroom break around the same time.
“I was trying to use the ladies’ room and something very funny happened,” she said on “The Megyn Kelly Show.” “I told you where I was in relation to Taylor Swift… well I walk out of the box — the suite — and there is the lady in the dress that signifies this is the women’s room.”
Kelly said a woman was standing outside the door so she “just assumed there was a line.”
“I’m like, ‘Oh, are you in line?’ And she’s like, ‘No,’” Kelly recalled. “So I’m like, ‘Oh, OK.’ So I go to get past her, and she’s like, ‘Oh no, I think someone’s in there.’”
The media personality was confused as to why the woman would be waiting if she wasn’t in line so she tried to enter the stall.
“There was something unclear about what she said so I tried to go past her and then I pressed down the doorknob and it started to open and I heard like, ‘Ahhh,’ and then she was like, ‘Oh no, no!’”
“And then I realized Taylor Swift was clearly in there and this was like a privacy guard for her,” she alleged with a laugh. “So I think I almost walked in on Taylor Swift in the bathroom.”
However, Kelly — who has been very critical of Swift over the years — said she was “really glad that didn’t happen.”
After the near-disaster, the political commentator realized “it was just one of those one-stall bathrooms” and found the communal women’s room down the hall.
While Kelly didn’t meet the “Fortnight” singer she mentioned her several times on Instagram, even sharing a selfie with the hitmaker in the background.
The Conservative pundit also called the billionaire, 35, the “biggest loser” of the night. Swift was left stunned after being met with boos when she was shown on the jumbotron.
However, the 14-time Grammy winner laughed off the jeers, turning to pal Ice Spice and asking, “What’s going on?”
While both Kelly and President Donald Trump have slammed Swift’s appearance at the big game, the singer has yet to address the situation.
Swift flew out of New Orleans on Monday following the Chiefs’ disappointing loss.
We’re told the “Cruel Summer” singer has been “comforting” boyfriend Travis Kelce as he grapples with the 40-22 blowout.
“Taylor knows Travis took this loss very hard but she couldn’t be more proud of him regardless of the outcome,” an insider told us.
Swift “was thrilled to be at the Super Bowl to show her support” for Kelce after watching him work so “hard” all season.
Now that the tight end’s season is over, he and Swift will get to spend lots of quality time together.
The pair have had to juggle Kelce’s NFL schedule with the singer’s nearly two-year tour for the entirety of their relationship, which began dating around July 2023.
However, Swift’s Eras Tour ended in December, giving them both the next few months off.
