Bill Belichick’s Patriots “pump-up” playlist included tunes by Bon Jovi, Bruce Springsteen and Kenny Chesney, at least according to the coach’s former team in 2013.
So maybe it’s no surprise that the legendary coach, 72, looked grumpy as Run-DMC’s Darryl McDaniels played Rao’s Super Bowl pop-up before the big game, at the same time that his 24-year-old girlfriend, Jordon Hudson, was having a ball.
In a pic, famously bellicose Belichick is seen looking crusty at a table at the exclusive eatery on Friday night, while much younger Hudson throws her hands in the air amid the delighted dining room.
(As far as Belichick’s musical taste, it has also been reported that the coach and Jon Bon Jovi are very close friends, and that he also is partial to U2.)
Rumors cropped up over the weekend that the pair got engaged after Hudson was wearing a ring, but it’s unclear if Belichick actually has popped the question.
The couple does have history in New Orleans: It was one of the first spots they were seen in public together dating back to January 2023 — a year before the two went public with their relationship.
Belichick and Hudson were fixtures during Super Bowl weekend, attending the NFL Honors on Thursday, and they were seen out for brunch on Saturday, after attending Rao’s together on Friday night.
They even appeared in a Dunkin’ Super Bowl 2025 ad alongside Hollywood brothers Ben and Casey Affleck, Jeremy Strong, Druski, and “Jay and Silent Bob” stars Jason Mewes and Kevin Smith. And during the NFL Honors, host Snoop Dogg, roasted the couple about their 49-year age gap.
The former Bridgewater State University cheerleader then paid homage to Belichick at the Super Bowl by wearing a customized black leather jacket that she made herself — decorated with NFL patches for the former New England coach, plus his full name on the back.
She said of the outfit via social media that she “created this piece with my own bare hands.”
Also at Rao’s on Saturday night was Joe Montana, Pete Davidson, Kevin Costner, the Chainsmokers, Erin Andrews and more.
The iconic East Harlem red sauce eatery returned to the Super Bowl with a series of pop-up dinners in New Orleans, as presided over by owners Ron Straci and Frank Pellegrino Jr., and their executive chef meatball maestro Dino Gatto.
Helping stir the sauce was entrepreneur Kenny Dichter and his Real SLX team.
We previously reported that Eli Manning even got onstage to perform with brother, Cooper Manning, as their legendary NFL player dad, Archie Manning, looked on. Another night, Mike Tirico and Chris Collinsworth hit the stage for a rendition of “Sweet Caroline,” we hear.
