For a long time, it seemed that leaving WWE would be the end of any professional wrestler’s career. However, that is far from the case now.
Multiple former WWE Superstars have proven that they can reach new heights in other companies, like Nic Nemeth, Swerve Strickland, Athena, Toni Storm, Matt Cardona, and more.

This is largely because of multiple promotions that have grown to rival WWE, including All Elite Wrestling (AEW), Total Nonstop Action Wrestling (TNA), New Japan Pro-Wrestling, and countless independent promotions.
Now, it seems that another former WWE Superstar will be making the pilgrimage to AEW.
According to a report from Dave Meltzer of Wrestling Observer, Jeffrey Sciullo, also known as Elias and Ezekiel in WWE, had officially signed with All Elite Wrestling (AEW) under the Ring of Honor (ROH) banner under the name Elijah.
“Elijah (formerly Elias, real name Jeff Sciullo, 37) has signed here,” Meltzer said, per Felix Upton of Ringside News. “A video was posted showing him as the new member of The Righteous group with Dutch & Vincent on ROH.”
“He teamed with them on the Jericho Cruise this week. The fact they are still signing new people for ROH would indicate Tony Khan hasn’t given up on fortifying for a media rights deal.”

Elijah shared a video on his Instagram page where he, along with Vincent and Dutch, were decked out in all-white and walking around a graveyard.
Elijah started his professional wrestling career in 2008 on the independent circuit, mainly for the International Wrestling Cartel (IWC) as Heavy Metal Jesus, Logan Shulo.
With IWC, Elijah won the IWC World Heavyweight Championship and the IWC Super Indy Championship.

In 2014, Elijah signed a developmental deal with WWE under the name Elias Samson, which was eventually shortened to just Elias. He would remain in NXT until 2017, where he would create a drifter musician character that took his guitar to the ring.
In 2017, Elijah made his main roster debut and remained popular for his musical performances before matches.
In 2022, Elijah debuted a new character named Ezekiel, the younger brother of Elias, and feuded with Kevin Owens. While the gimmick garnered mixed reactions, Elijah and Owens were praised for making it memorable.
