The Big Apple is expected to get several inches of snow overnight Sunday, with potential icy spots on the roads later in the day ahead of the Super Bowl — and another snow storm possibly blowing through in the coming days, meteorologists said.

The powerful snowstorm blowing in from the Midwest will dump three to five inches of snow throughout the five boroughs and New Jersey beginning late Saturday night into Sunday morning, with teeth-chattering lows in the upper 20s, according to FOX Weather Meteorologist Stephen McCloud.

Further north, in White Plains and the Hudson Valley, locals could wake up to a whopping 5 to 8 inches of powder, while Boston is expected to get hit with upward of a foot of snow.

Sunny skies with highs in around 40 degrees are expected by midday in the city, but the roads and sidewalks could be “slick” later in the evening as people head out to bars and parties to watch the Big Game, McCloud warned.

“If there’s anything left Sunday night coming into Monday, it could refreeze,” McCloud told The Post.

“It’s not going to be nice at all.”

Possible icy conditions will accompany freezing highs and lows bottoming out at 22 on Monday, with increasing clouds. By Tuesday, more winter snow storms could return throughout the Northeast and continue through Wednesday.

“It’s going to be rounds of precipitation next week,” McCloud said.

“Wash, rinse, repeat. It’s going to be that way all week.”
