The Tigers are coming off a tough loss in a close matchup against No. 4 Tennessee 85-81 despite guard, Tamar Bates going off for 22 points. Tony Perkins also had a good outing with 16 points and five rebounds. Before that, Missouri had won back-to-back ranked matchups, defeating Ole Miss 83-75 and Mississippi State 88-61.
Meanwhile, Texas A&M defeated Oklahoma 75-68 and followed that up by knocking off South Carolina 76-72 with 25 points from guard Wade Taylor and 12 points and eight rebounds from forward Henry Coleman III.
Bates leads Missouri in scoring this season with 13.9 points per game, followed by Caleb Grill at 13.1 points and Mark Mitchell at 12.4 points. On the other end, the Aggies are led by Taylor’s 15.1 points and 4.4 assists per game, followed by guard Zhuric Phelps at 14.8 points.
