Patriots owner Robert Kraft and his former star quarterback Tom Brady reunited before the Super Bowl at Michael Rubin and Casey Wasserman’s Super Bowl luncheon in New Orleans.
Also at the starry event were rappers Travis Scott and Meek Mill — who were sitting with Commanders quarterback Jayden Daniels, we hear — as well as Russell Wilson and Ciara, Bengals QB Joe Burrow, Peyton and Eli Manning, Eagles GM Howie Roseman, Pennsylvania Gov. Josh Shapiro and Kansas City Chiefs owner Clark Hunt.
“They were all hanging at the lunch,” said a source, as the event has become the veritable Sun Valley of the Super Bowl weekend.
Brady posted images from the event on Instagram Stories including shots with Kraft, Daniels and Odell Beckham Jr., among others.
Also spotted at the luncheon was essentially every other other NFL owner, as well as Hollywood power players including Endeavor’s Ari Emanuel and Mark Shapiro, Fox CEO Lachlan Murdoch, Comcast exec Mark Lazarus, former NBCUniversal CEO Jeff Shell and Gayle King.
Other business bigs included CEO of Verizon Wireless Hans Vestberg, Raising Cane’s CEO Todd Graves, Silver Lake’s Greg Mondre, Off Season’s Kristin Juszczyk and Emma Grede, Chelsea FC owner Todd Boehly, Josh Harris and David Blitzer and David Adelman.
Entertainers also included the Chainsmokers’ Drew Taggart and Alex Pall.
Rubin — the founder of Fanatics — posted pics from the New Orleans event with the caption, “Humbled and honored to bring together some of the best minds in sports, entertainment, business and culture at our annual Super Bowl luncheon with Casey Wasserman. Always an amazing group with incredible conversations.”
Rubin also hosts a Super Bowl blowout for his Fanatics brand, which this year will feature performances by Scott, Post Malone and Don Tolliver, among others, we reported.
The event at the Sugar Mill on Saturday night is also expected to attract more A-list performers, after Cardi B, Doja Cat, the Chainsmokers, lce Spice, A$AP Ferg, Meek Mill, Lil Baby, Fabolous, Ludacris, Ne-Yo, The Kid LAROI and more have played the party in the past.
