The Super Bowl’s not the only star-studded event this weekend.

With awards season officially in full swing, the 30th annual Critics Choice Awards are airing live on Friday, honoring achievements in both film and television.

Don’t want to miss any of the action? Read on for everything you’ll need to stream it at home for free (no cable required).

When is the 2025 Critics Choice Awards?

While the ceremony was rescheduled twice due to the California wildfires, it’s now set to air on E! on Feb. 7 at 7 p.m. ET., broadcasted live from the Barker Hangar in Santa Monica.

How to watch the 2025 Critics Choice Awards

You won’t need cable to watch the three-hour show (or the red carpet beforehand). Viewers can catch all the action via live streaming services like DirecTV Stream, which offers a five-day free trial for new users.

Hulu + Live TV and Fubo also feature E! live streaming (and are priced at $83/month and $60/month, respectively, after a free trial).

The day after the award show airs, it’ll also be available to stream in full on Peacock.

Who’s hosting the 2025 Critics Choice Awards?

Chelsea Handler is back hosting for the third consecutive year — and given it’s the award show’s 30th anniversary, it’s advertised as the “biggest and best” one yet.

“It’s not as serious as the Oscars, and it’s not as chaotic as the Golden Globes,” Handler explained to The Hollywood Reporter before her hosting duties last year.

Who’s nominated the most at the 2025 Critics Choice Awards?

In the film categories, “Wicked” and “Conclave” lead the pack with 11 nominations each, followed closely by “Emilia Pérez” and “Dune: Part II,” which scored 10 nods apiece.

When it comes to television, FX’s “Shogun” is the top contender with six nominations. Meanwhile “Abbott Elementary,” “Disclaimer,” “Hacks,” “The Diplomat,” “The Penguin,” and “What We Do in the Shadows” all got four nominations each.

In addition to the many A-list nominees, plenty of celebrity presenters have also been confirmed — including Kate Hudson, Orlando Bloom, Kristen Bell, Sarah Michelle Gellar, Keri Russell, Lupita Nyong’o and Michelle Yeoh.
