The Kansas City Chiefs have been fortunate to have a final injury report that is mostly devoid of any players who cannot suit up. However, the team is likely to be without wide receiver Skyy Moore.

Moore has appeared on the injury report in three straight days, being designated as a limited participant in all three days. The young receiver has been dealing with an abdomen injury that led to him being placed on IR. Now, he is considered “doubtful” for Super Bowl LIX.
Moore saw his injuries impact what could have been a solid season in 2024. Despite his working hard to make it back for the big game, it appears that will not be making the walk.

Patrick Mahomes, Matt Araiza, and Jawaan Taylor also appeared on the injury report, but have mostly been labeled full participants. Araiza appeared on Thursday’s injury report due to an illness but was upgraded to a full participant in the final injury report.
On the other side of things, the Philadelphia Eagles have a bit more to deal with injury-wise. Defensive tackle Brandon Graham is questionable due to an elbow injury, Dallas Goedert is questionable with a groin injury, and C.J. Uzomah is also questionable with an abdomen injury.
All three players could miss the big game, though they might also find a way to play through their injuries considering it’s the Super Bowl.
The only player on the Eagles that has been ruled out is wide receiver Britain Covey.
The Chiefs appear to be the healthier team, and are looking to make history should they win. No team has ever secured three Super Bowl victories in a row, and a win would mean the first-ever NFL three-peat.
Mahomes and company have proven a staggering amount of times this season they can band together and get big wins, even when trailing or only leading by a minimal amount of points.
The Chiefs’ biggest challenge will be to stop star Eagles running back Saquon Barkley. Barkley has been a tear this season, securing 2,005 rushing yards. He also stacked on 442 rushing yards in the playoffs.
If Kansas City wants a chance to win it all, they will need to silence or limit Barkley on the ground.
