Britney Spears has formed a close-knit bond with her on-off boyfriend Paul Richard Soliz‘s children.
“She’s great with the kids,” a source exclusively tells Page Six Thursday. “They adore each other.”
Spears and Soliz began dating in 2023 after she hired him to perform maintenance duties around her multimillion-dollar mansion. Their romance became public amid the pop star’s divorce from Sam Asghari.
Soliz has nine children, three of which he shares with Nicole Mancilla, who officially filed to divorce him in October 2024 after eight years of marriage. We’re told Soliz has custody of the exes’ three boys: Trystan, 10, Dylan, 8, and Nicholas a.k.a “Sonny,” 6, and that is who Spears spends time with the most.
“They’re forever playing and have brought life and laughter into her home, where it was so very much needed,” an insider says. “Her house is filled with love now.”
Spears, 43, has been in a period of transition since she was freed from the 13-year conservatorship she deemed abusive in November 2021.
The pop superstar stopped speaking to nearly all of her family members at the time given their alleged involvement in the control of her finances and personal life. She has since tried to make amends with her mom, Lynne Spears, and brother Bryan Spears.
In August 2023, Asghari, 30, then filed for divorce from Britney after 14 months of marriage and seven years overall together with insiders fearing that the “Overprotected” singer had become “isolated.”
Britney was also estranged from her only sons — Sean Preston, 19, and Jayden James, 18 — before they moved to Hawaii to live full-time with their father, Kevin Federline.
However, Jayden has since reconnected with his mother and the two spent Christmas together.
Our source says Britney has “never lost her mothering” nature, so she is very “nurturing” and “caring” with Soliz’s kids.
The insider says the group often spends time “poolside” or “running around” the “Lucky” singer’s $7.4 million estate in Thousand Oaks, Calif., which boasts five bedrooms, eight bathrooms and sits on a massive 21 acres of land.
We’re told Britney also takes her boyfriend and his kids to “weekend getaways to cabins in the snow or villas on the beach,” concluding, “They enjoy each other’s company always.”
Page Six has reached out to Spears’ rep for comment.
The “Toxic” singer was spotted this week taking two of Soliz’s sons to a playground while their dad took their brother to the dentist next door. She also took them to a trampoline park last August.
A person from Soliz’s past — his ex-mother-in-law, Sandra Smith — has expressed concern that the “deadbeat” father is just using Britney and that he allegedly “neglects his children for her.”
Court docs obtained by Page Six last October showed the licensed contractor earns $2,773 per month. According to Smith, he does not pay her daughter, Nicole Mancilla, child support.
Mancilla filed for divorce from Soliz in October 2024 after eight years of marriage, but we’re told the former couple had been off and on for a while. That same month, Soliz filed a restraining order against Smith and accused his ex-wife of having severe mental health issues in the filing.
Soliz alleged that his former mother-in-law tried to kidnap Violet, the 2-year-old daughter he shares with Mancilla, when he went to pick up the kids at his ex’s home.
Smith said on a radio show at the time that she “kept the baby girl” because Soliz had allegedly “never bonded with that little girl.”
Britney has said in the past that she wants a bigger family, particularly a little girl of her own. The “Piece of Me” singer announced in May 2022 that she sadly suffered a miscarriage and had lost her “miracle baby.”
