Berlin fashion label SF1OG celebrates nostalgia and zeitgeist, crafting collections filled with references to the past while simultaneously living up to the future’s standards, with commitments to sustainability, gender inclusivity and pristine craft. For Fall 2025, the label flipped back in time to the late 2000s (more specifically, 2008, when Kanye West repopularized the always-polarizing Shutter Shades) for a glorious indie sleaze revival that danced through the legendary halls of Berlin’s greatest nightclub, Berghain.
“We wanted to explore this theme of uniforms, but not in a military context,” explained the brand’s co-director Jacob Lagemeyere, who manages the label alongside founder Rosa Marga Dahl. “We viewed the uniform in the context of music subcultures, especially the first ones my friends and I experienced in the late 2000s as young teens. We liked everything from electronic artists to indie rock bands.”
SF1OG’s uniform—blazers left open to reveal bare skin, sheer tops with asymmetrical cuts, skinny trousers with low waists, leather rocker pants and furry neckties—would likely earn the approval of the debaucherous venue’s notoriously particular bouncers. Elsewhere, the brand’s take on the infamous Shutter Shades, designed in collaboration with Berlin-based 3D design studio NEWFORMAT, tapped the line’s referential era directly on the nose. Those sliced eyepieces might have a harder time getting into the party, but they’re a great throwback nonetheless.
For those curious, SF1OG stands for “Seitenflügel 1. Obergeschoss,” or the German term for “side wing first floor,” a nod to Dahl’s one-room flat where the brand’s journey first began in 2019. To be corralling Berlin Fashion Week’s notables inside the city’s most renowned club just six years later is one impressive feat.
