Kelsea Ballerini’s Grammys 2025 look is so stunning that it doesn’t matter she is already joking about the fact that she didn’t win an award.

The country star, who was nominated at this year’s ceremony with Noah Kahan for best country duo/group performance with the song “Cowboy’s Don’t Cry,” wore a dress by Tamara Ralph with multiple components.

The dress’ main component was beaded black mini with a subtle, shiny fringe material and a conical bra top. On her shoulders, the 31-year-old wore a dramatic opera cape with puff sleeves and a long train.

Kelsea Ballerini’s Grammys 2025 look was complemented the look with simple black pumps, diamond rings and earring by Jared Atelier, and her long blonde hair in classic waves. She also accessorized with her proud boyfriend, actor Chase Stokes, on her arm.

Stokes wore black and white also, but added a pop of hunter green and an extra-extra-long belt.

Ballerini’s entire look is so fantastic, it’s softened the blow that she and Kahan have already lost the award to Beyonce and Miley Cyrus, for their song “II Most Wanted.” But they seem to be just fine, with Ballerini poking fun about it with Kahan on Instagram Stories.

“What does it feel like to lose three awards for the same song?” she said in a video, whirling the camera over to her duet partner.

“You weirdly start to kind of like it. I’m on a losing high right now—woohoo!” joked Kahan.

But with a new album (Patterns), her relationship with Stokes, and her new role as judge on The Voice, its safe to say Ballerini is still having a pretty great 2025. As she told Glamour last year, she’s focused on building her legacy.

“I honestly just want to make stuff that makes people feel something,” she said.
