It has only been a few short weeks since the Los Angeles County wildfires razed thousands of acres of the city to the ground. With many of the fires finally nearing almost 100 percent containment, Angelenos are coming together to rebuild their city.
The Los Angeles wildfires have been deemed the costliest wildfire disaster in United States history, with reports estimating the blaze damaged approximately $350 million in public infrastructure alone.
Now some of the biggest names in music will be performing at a one-night-only benefit to raise money through ticket sales and donations for their city. The FireAid benefit concert will take place over two separate events in Los Angeles Jan. 30 with several special guests who have volunteered to perform, according to organizer Irving Azoff, per the Associated Press. And viewers at home will get the chance to tune in live – no matter what streaming service you prefer.
For once, the FireAid benefit concert will not just be exclusive to any one streamer. It will be widely available live on several streaming services, including Netflix, YouTube, Paramount+, and more.
