Model and actress Lori Harvey will cover Playboy in the iconic magazine’s first print issue since it suspended its operations during the dawn of the pandemic.
The announcement was made via a collaborative post on Instagram between Harvey and the publication. “PLAYBOY returns to print with Lori Harvey on the cover. Preorder today. On stands 02.10.25. Link in bio,” read the caption of the video teaser, which featured Harvey posing around a vintage vehicle with the license plate “PLAYBOY.”
Playboy — founded in December 1953 — shuttered its print operations in 2020, after facing recent struggles with founder Hugh Hefner’s death in 2017 and the floundering of the print business at large.

“It’s no surprise that media consumption habits have been changing for some time – and while the stories we produce and the artwork we showcase is enjoyed by millions of people on digital platforms, our content in its printed form reaches the hands of only a fraction of our fans,” Playboy Enterprises CEO Ben Kohn said at the time of the decision, announcing a “digital first publishing schedule.”
Kohn announced a return to form in August of last year, saying in a statement that the print edition would be part of a larger rebrand of the Playboy franchises.
“Playboy is the quintessential iconic brand, and it has always been more than a magazine – it is the original creator business that has launched hundreds of careers over the past seventy years,” he said. “The decision to reintroduce Playboy magazine reflects the Company’s commitment to adapting to the evolving media landscape while preserving the brand’s rich heritage, including the high-quality journalism, compelling storytelling, and provocative content that has defined Playboy for decades.”
Along with Harvey, the new issue will feature comedian Nikki Glaser — off of a successful Golden Globes hosting stint — and the yet-to-be-revealed Playmate of the Year.
Harvey made her modeling debut in 2017 at Milan Fashion Week’s Dolce & Gabbana show. Last year, she marked her acting debut in Peacock‘s limited series Fight Night: The Million Dollar Heist, which starred Samuel L. Jackson, Kevin Hart, Terrence Howard, Taraji P. Henson and Don Cheadle.
