There may be speculation of Andy Cohen‘s desire for Lisa Vanderpump to return to The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, but Cohen insists that he has no part in that.
On Tuesday’s (Jan. 21) installment of his Sirius XM program Radio Andy, Cohen acknowledged that “it was repeated all over the place that [he’s] trying to get Lisa Vanderpump back on” the show, which she has not been part of since 2019’s Season 9.
“Let me restate my abject love for Lisa Vanderpump, but I don’t know where the rumor came from,” he clarified. “And, like, I kind of, I don’t see her coming back to that show.”
As for Cohen’s co-host John Hill’s take, he added, “I don’t know why that would even be a rumor. She doesn’t need to go back. You guys don’t need her back. She’s got her own thing going on.”
While Cohen pointed out that she is “kind of friends with Garcelle [Beauvais],” he said he thinks Vanerpump and the other RHOBH stars, like Dorit Kemsley and Kyle Richards, have no “desire” to interact.
“I do love that it feels like once a year, Kyle runs into Vanderpump somewhere and they’ll kind of send each other their bill or their drink,” he teased, noting his appreciation that they have “a little shade with each other” during their public run-ins.
While Vanderpump has sustained her reality TV presence through shows like Vanderpump Rules and Vanderpump Villa, she has also teamed up with Gordon Ramsay on Gordon Ramsay’s Food Stars. While both Vanderpump shows have been renewed for upcoming seasons, Vanderpump Rules is getting a cast shake-up for Season 12.
Per Bravo’s The Daily Dish, while at a BravoCon 2023 panel, Vanderpump had not expressed interest in a RHOBH comeback, saying at the time, “You know what? I think I’ve got enough on my plate so that’s a hard no.”
