The 2012 series Duck Dynasty captured the nation’s attention for 11 entire seasons as the Robertsons operated their successful duck-hunting business. Now, the Robertsons are back with a brand new A&E series slated to premiere later this summer.
Duck Dynasty: The Revival will follow Willie Robertson and Korie Robertson and the next generations of the Robertson family living together on their homestead in Louisiana.
“With their dynasty expanding into more than just ducks, Willie and Korie will bring their signature humor and family fun as they grapple with mapping out the future of Duck Commander, watching the kids navigate marriage, children and businesses of their own, and passing down the family legacy,” a release from A&E notes.
“Going back on A&E feels a little like going back home. We’re thankful for all who have followed along as our family has grown and expanded and can’t wait to get cameras rolling again on all our new adventures, or perhaps misadventures,” Willie and Korie said in a statement.
The new Duck Dynasty show will also star Willie and Korie’s adult children – John Luke, Sadie, Will, Bella, and Rebecca – whom fans watched grow up in the original series.
The Duck Dynasty cast stars Miss Kay and Uncle Si will also appear in the new series alongside Willie and Korie.
Here’s everything you need to know about Duck Dynasty 2.0.
When will Duck Dynasty return?
The original Duck Dynasty ended in 2017 after 11 seasons. According to the press release from the network, the Robertsons “decided to end the series to focus on other ventures in 2017.” The series reportedly earned 11.8 million viewers at its peak.
But the new Duck Dynasty reboot is slated to premiere with 20 episodes on A&E in summer 2025. An exact premiere date has not yet been announced.
How to watch Duck Dynasty:
Duck Dynasty is streaming now on Prime Video, Hulu, Freevee, and Pluto TV.
As for the new Duck Dynasty series, A&E has yet to announce where the Duck Dynasty reboot will be available to stream once it premieres. The press release states the show will stream in a “major streaming service” after the conclusion of each season. Hulu is home to plenty of A&E content, though, so we wouldn’t be too shocked if it ended up there.
