As Jacquemus‘ Spring 2025 “La Croisière” Paris runway nears – set to go down in just about in week in the former home of French architect Auguste Perret – Simon Porte Jacquemus has shared a key update regarding the imminent showcase: the show will be entirely shot on the iPhone 16 Pro Max.
“A specialized installation at the venue will seamlessly integrate iPhone into the scenography, providing guests with an interactive experience,” the brand wrote in a press release. “This pairing between Jacquemus and Apple exemplifies the fusion of fashion and technology, captivating audiences globally. Further developments will be communicated in due course.”
“Jacquemus, the brand, was built on an iPhone,” Porte Jacquemus explained in a new interview with Vogue. “If you think of my early days: sharing pictures of my showroom, my best friend, my shows. I was taking pictures with my iPhone and it was a very easy way to interact with my audience; so I came up with the idea of just filming the show with iPhones and no humans.”
17 cameras will be placed around Perret’s apartment – “naturally integrated into the show’s setup” – to capture both runway photography and look close-ups.

“We can place iPhones in places where we usually would not be able to have [a camera]. We can place an iPhone to reflect off of a mirror which adds a lot of poetry, it’s really nice,” continued Porte Jacquemus.
Video will be captured on iPhone as well, by way of the device’s cinematic slow motion feature. The show is set to be an intimate one, hosting just 45 guests at Perret’s residence.
