A perverted parolee with 30 prior arrests and banned from the subway was arrested again underground after sexually assaulting two women Friday, according to police.
Cecil McKenzie, 53, of Harlem, allegedly pressed his groin against one 22-year-old woman and put his hand on another woman’s buttocks while riding a train into the 14th Street-Union Square subway station in Manhattan around 9:30 a.m., cops said.
McKenzie, who previously served prison time for sex crimes, fought officers who witnessed the attack but was eventually taken into custody, the NYPD wrote in a post on X.
“Your @NYPDTransit officers were on the same subway car and saw the incident unfold,” the post reads.
“They knew the man very well as he had been arrested over a dozen times previously including for persistent sexual abuse, forcible touching, robbery, and criminal possession of a weapon. He was also on parole and was a transit offender who’s not allowed to be in the subway.”
McKenzie, who’s listed in the state’s Sex Offender Registry, was charged with persistent sexual abuse, forcible touching, resisting arrest, obstruction of government administration, sexual abuse, disorderly conduct and harassment for the Friday incident.
The 5-foot-8, 170 pounder is in Rikers jail on $100,000 bail or $300,000 bond, records show.
He served time at Fishkill Correctional Facility for persistent sexual abuse in 2017 and was recently released to parole on June 3.
Roughly half of his arrests are sealed, a police source said.
