Buffalo Bills wide receiver Mack Hollins has been hit with a hefty fine by the NFL over his on-field behavior.
Per NFL Insider Tom Pelissero “The NFL fined #Bills WR Mack Hollins $11,255 for unsportsmanlike conduct (taunting) — stepping over #Broncos star DB Patrick Surtain II last week.”

As seen in the video above, Hollins appeared to deliberately step over Surtain in last week’s Wild Card match between the Bills and the Broncos. It probably added some insult to injury, especially considering that the Bills thoroughly dominated Denver, winning 31-7 and advancing to the postseason.
In his first year with the Buffalo Bills after joining from the Atlanta Falcons in 2023, wide receiver Mack Hollins quickly became a fan favorite. Hollins contributed 31 catches for 378 yards and five touchdowns in the 2024 season, and his impact on the team was evident as the Bills advanced through the playoffs.
Quarterback Josh Allen led the charge, completing 20 of 26 passes for 272 yards and two touchdowns. Allen spread the ball around, connecting with eight different receivers.
The Bills’ running game also played a significant role, with James Cook rushing for 120 yards, including a 5-yard touchdown. On the defensive side, Buffalo controlled the clock, finishing with a 23-minute edge in time of possession.
Despite Denver’s defense boasting an NFL-best 63 sacks in 2024, they only managed to sack Allen twice while Buffalo’s offense methodically wore them down, scoring on six of their first seven drives.
Buffalo’s victory secured their fifth consecutive divisional-round appearance, and they now look ahead to a rematch with the Baltimore Ravens, who defeated the Pittsburgh Steelers 28-14.
For the Broncos, the playoff loss served as a reminder of the work still ahead, despite a season that exceeded expectations. With the 2024 season ending in disappointment, they now look to build on the experience as they continue their rebuilding process.
Hopefully for Hollins’ wallet, next time he’ll think twice before stepping over someone on the field.
