Pharrell has been busy preparing for his fourth runway show at the helm of Louis Vuitton Men’s and has started to drum up excitement for the brand’s runway show, which is scheduled to take place in Paris on January 21 at 6:30pm CEST (12:30pm EST). While much attention has been paid to Louis Vuitton’s re-edition of its Takashi Murakami collection, there’s sure to be plenty of new headlines surrounding the fashion house next week.
Jumping ahead of the chaos to come, Pharrell just revealed one of his latest creations for Louis Vuitton — introducing the ButterSoft sneaker. Fans of Skateboard P were quick to draw comparisons to his Ice Cream Boardflip silhouette from the mid ’00s while others noted similarities to the Nike Cortez. He not only held up a pair, but teased over 40 colorways that all sport prominent “LV” branding at the midfoot.
Info about Pharrell’s new Louis Vuitton ButterSoft sneaker remains limited as he’s only posted them to his @skateboard Instagram account. However, the new silhouette is likely to play a key role in the brand’s upcoming Fall/Winter 2025 runway show and is expected to drop during the second half of the year. Stay tuned for updates, including the reveal of additional looks, as we look forward to the new sneaker’s debut.
